How Did Carla Muss-Jacobs Get Into Real Estate?
Carla Muss-Jacobs bought her first home when she was 19 . . . many . . . many years ago. It was a big move back in 1977. It was purchased through a VA Loan. But, it was the BEST MOVE she could have made and set her on the path of becoming an Exclusive Buyers Agent in Portland — dedicating her real estate practice to BUYERS EXCLUSIVELY.
Since 1977, Carla has personally owned 7 properties (including condos, town homes and single family). In 1990 she relocated to the Portland Metro area and, as a result of her move, knows exactly what it’s like to be a relocation buyer in Portland. After moving to the Portland Metro area, Carla decided to make real estate her chosen profession.
Since 1999, Carla has represented hundreds of Buyer clients, has closed just as many transactions, attended hundreds of home inspections and escrow closings in the Portland Metro area.

The motivation is representing Buyers in the Metro Portland market and the ability to negotiate on behalf of her clients: to promote their position, and working diligently to obtain the best terms and conditions with their home purchase. With a Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University in Social Science and 15 years of prior work history in law offices as a legal assistant, Carla brings to the table years of experience.
