Cooper Mountain is a neighborhood in Beaverton, OR. It is also the name of the mountain on which is was developed. Its summit has an elevation of 774 feet. The mountain and surrounding area are named for Ohio immigrant Perry Cooper who settled on the mountain. Cooper Mountain Nature Park is a 231 acres nature park in the Portland metropolitan area. Opened in 2009, the park is owned and operated by Metro, the regional government in the Oregon portion of the metro area. The park is named after Cooper Mountain.
