“We want a home near OHSU, can you help us find one?” and the search begins.

My clients want me to find them property specific homes.  By that I mean, they want something very specific in their home be it style, number of bedrooms, new(er) construction, etc.  But one of the most important criteria has been location and proximity.  I’ve had several buyer clients looking, specifically, at the homes for sale near OHSU.

Why Have My Clients Wanted to See Homes for Sale Near OHSU?

There have been a few of my former clients who have moved to Portland for a medical teaching position at OHSU, and homes for sale near OHSU was at the top of their list.  But, because they were professors, not medical doctors, they weren’t stuck on solely looking for homes for sale near OHSU.

OHSU is called “Pill Hill” because it’s located in the West Hills of Portland.  As such, the homes in any hilltop area tend to be more expensive.  I tell my clients the higher the elevation and the closer in to town, the higher the price.  When look for homes for sale near OHSU, or in any other area, price is important.
